The average of new infection with the coronavirus, is established at 215,6 cases everyday between the 15th and the 21st of July, an increase of 63 % compared to the previous seven days, according to the latest data released Saturday morning by the Institute of public health Sciensano.

The increase in new infections is therefore lower than on Friday, where an increase of 89 % was observed, with an average of 220 new cases per day between 14 and 20 July. The figures, however, are certainly influenced by the 21 July, a public holiday.
