The first dog to have been tested positive for the coronavirus in the United States is dead, reports the National Geographic magazine, after having experienced symptoms apparently similar to those of many humans.

Buddy, a German shepherd seven years old, had fallen ill in April, at about the same time when its owner Robert Mahoney was recovering himself for the Covid-19, indicated the magazine this week.
