In euros, it is the envelope that the european central bank will release to restore the economy. The emergency program "PEPP" (Pandemic Emergency Purchase Program) seeks to limit the effects of the health crisis. It has been equipped in mid-march of € 750 billion to buy public and private bonds. It will be therefore swelled to 600 billion euros. "The expansion of the PEPP provides a more flexible, more general orientation of monetary policy, thereby supporting financing conditions in the real economy, especially for businesses and households," says the ECB.
