The hearing on the request for recognition of paternity of king Albert II vis-à-vis Delphine Boël will not be on Thursday as originally planned. Because of the crisis of the sars coronavirus, the discussions are deferred to the September 10, reported Tuesday to Belga, the lawyers of the two parties. In January of this year, Albert II was announced, through the voice of its legal counsel, that the results of the DNA tests show that he is the biological father of Delphine Boël and they decided not to oppose the request to be recognized as his daughter.

The Brussels court of appeal must hear one last time the parties in this folder, before making a final decision. But it is already clear that Albert II no longer opposes the request made by Delphine Boël. It can be assumed, therefore, that the judgment of the court will confirm that Delphine Boël is the daughter in law to Albert II.
