The presidents of the three parties forming the current government, Georges-Louis Bouchez for MR Joachim Coens for the CD&V and Egbert Lachaert for the VLD met with the First minister Sophie Wilmès. Objective : to respond in a concerted way, as we wrote already, the proposal of the duo Magnette (PS)-Rousseau (SP.(A) to form a government tripartite minority (bringing together the families, socialist, liberal, and centrist).

The three parties consider that it is necessary to continue to try to form a majority government and not retreat from the present on a minority coalition. In this aim, the three presidents mentioned above take the whole hand, to " try to find additional partners to the current coalition to achieve a parliamentary majority, which will conduct a policy of support and efficient recovery ".
