An employer must not take charge of the salary of an employee quarantined in Belgium after his return from the trip, provided that such deviation is recommended (orange zone) or mandatory (red zone), according to the analysis of a lawyer specialized in labour law quoted in La Libre Belgique on Tuesday.

" The worker will be compensated by the national employment office to the tune of 70 % of salary capped at 2 754,76 euros ", explains Carl Vander Ptsd, lawyer specializing in labour law chez Cairn Legal.
