The consumption of drugs has dropped significantly from 13 march, even if all the substances are still available on the market during the crisis of the coronavirus, says the national Institute of public health Sciensano Thursday, following an online survey carried out by his unit of illegal drugs.

The survey, conducted among 5.764 people over the age of 18, resident in Belgium and who have consumed the drug in 2020, shows that the Covid-19 has had an impact on their consumption. Ten drugs were mentioned in the survey : alcohol, cannabis, cocaine, amphetamine, methamphetamine, ecstasy/MDMA, LSD, GHB and heroin. The consumption of these has fallen after 13 march.
