CLEVELAND, Ohio – A few of the cleveland.com Top 25 teams lost some close games in the last few days, but not enough to overturn this week’s rankings. However, Magnificat dropped its fifth game and in turn lost its place in the Top 10.

Closing: Readers will only notice a slight shift as the regular season comes to an end this week. The only fall was for Magnificat who dropped its fifth straight game after earlier wins against Top 25 teams Twinsburg, Wadsworth and Hathaway Brown.

There’s no question that the Blue Streaks have a challenging schedule, but there’s no reason to keep them in the Top 10 after their fall in the past few weeks. Magnificat dropped eight spots.
