Scott Baio still loves Donald Trump

Scott Baio is doubling down on his now-infamous appearance at the Republican National Convention — and has more faith in Donald Trump than ever before.

“I still think he’s going to win,” Baio said in an interview with the Hollywood Reporter on Saturday. “I know he’s way ahead with the independents. I think the silent majority is about done with this crap.”

That “crap,” he clarifies, includes ObamaCare, immigration, the economy, ISIS and global warming, which he calls “a bunch of BS.”

Baio added that he doesn’t care if his appearance at the RNC damages his reputation in famously liberal Hollywood.

“I’m from Brooklyn, and at a certain point you know who you are,” he said. “So when I know who I am, you can’t insult me and you can’t diminish me.

“You can’t do anything to me because I don’t care.”
