CLEVELAND, Ohio - We open with Flynn in church, in a pew, alone. A priest offers a chance to listen. Flynn is seeking peace. And while the show starts on a seemingly tranquil note it ends on a violent one.

Meanwhile, Lucy and Rufus meet with Agent Neville, their new boss, who tells them they must go back and eliminate the young woman who becomes Flynn's mother. She was a secretary at NASA in a previous episode and will be a 17-year-old on May 3, 1962.

They head back with an agent charged with killing the woman but, upon landing, Rufus and Lucy overpower him before they can leave the time machine, and they jump again. Lucy is seeking her sister.

Meanwhile, Flynn has jumped back to 1931, where he gives Al Capone tax-evasion records to help the gangster avoid the future charge that will put him away.

The trio teams with Eliot Ness, who is ambushed and killed. The crew decides to stop Capone, who is grateful to Flynn for keeping evidence out of the feds' hands. All Flynn wants is an introduction to the Chicago mayor who, it turns out, is a member of ... Rittenhouse.

The trio brings the brothers together, and it's not a happy reunion.
