[updated August 13, 2020 15: 30] Yet another weekend of being chased cross on the roads of France. For this 15 August, needless to say, the traffic will be dense in the sense of departures and returns. For the time being, Bison Futé predicts a France in two colors : orange (difficult traffic) over a large part of the territory, and red (traffic very difficult) in the south-east.

A weekend of the Assumption, no doubt loaded, but relatively calm compared to what one could have feared. "The feedback in the direction of the north will take over the departures to the coastal regions. A weekend in orange

Here are the latest forecasts from Bison Futé :

Saturday, August 15 : a majority of France is in orange in the direction of departures and returns ; the south-east of France is in red in both directions. Sunday, August 16 : green in the sense of departures, orange in the PACA region, orange in the sense of returns, red in the Rhône-Alpes region. What's the forecast for Saturday, August 8 ?

In the sense of departures :

Exit or cross the Île-de-France prior to 8 hours. Avoid the A10 motorway between Niort and Bordeaux, from 9 to 17 hours. Avoid the motorway A7 between Lyon and Orange, 7 to 17 hours and between Salon-de-Provence and Marseille, from 9 to 19 hours. Avoid the A9 between Orange and Perpignan, from 8 to 17 hours. Access to Italy via the tunnel du Mont-Blanc (N205) will be responsible, for 12 to 15 hours (waiting for more than 30 minutes).

In the sense of returns :

Regain or cross the Île-de-France before 14 hours. Avoid the A10 motorway between Bordeaux and Niort, from 9 to 18 hours. Avoid the A7 motorway between Lyon and Marseille, from 9 to 19 hours. Avoid the A9 motorway between Perpignan and Orange, from 9 to 19 hours.
