Deportations: Countries pushed ten dangerous

For security, the interior ministries may deport so-called danger. Seven federal states made 2017 use of them, Bavaria was not among them.

Deportations: Countries pushed ten dangerous

Since January 2017, according to Ministry of Interior, ten foreign endangerments were deported from Germany. This is reported by German editorial network (RND), which is response of federal government to a question by FDP MEP Konstantin Hollow. Nine countries, including Bavaria, have refore not been deported any more in 2017. In January, Taz reported at least 36 deported Gefährdern since attack on Berlin Christmas market 2016. The newspaper called on figures of individual provincial authorities.

Hollow called small number of deportations according to Rnd a "problem of enforcement". "If new federal Interior minister Horst Seehofer wants to increase number of deportations, deportations of Islamist may also not get out of sight." Instead of exacerbating legal situation, authorities should be better equipped financially and personally, said Hollow.

In North Rhine-Westphalia, according to report, a Turkish citizen, who had joined Dschihadistenmiliz Islamic State, was deported since beginning of 2017. Lower Saxony had expelled two endangered to Algeria and Nigeria. Two Islamists and terror suspects from Mecklenburg-Vorpommern were deported to Bosnia and Herzegovina. There were also two repatriations from Bremen and one from Saxony, Hesse and Schleswig-Holstein.

Danger can be deported for security

The Ministry of Interior currently carries 799 persons as a threat in all areas of crime, 758 ors are considered to be "relevant persons". This is a furr response from Ministry of Interior to a small question from FDP group.

In Germany, police authorities of countries, in cooperation with State offices for constitutional protection, determine who y classify as endangering. According to paragraph 58a of Aliens Act, State authorities may, in certain cases, deport persons concerned without expulsion if this serves to "prevent a particular danger to security of Federal Republic of Germany or a terrorist threat". The Federal Ministry can also intervene in case of "special interest".
