The Olympic Games carried over in 2021, the International Cycling Union (UCI) has had to adapt the schedule 2021 from the WorldTour, the main circuit cycliste international. It is as well as the Tour de France has been advanced one week and will now be held from 26 June to 18 July.

"because of the Olympic Games held in Tokyo from 23 July to 8 August 2021, the dates of several tests have been adapted," wrote the UCI on Tuesday in a press release.
