Getafe has activated its option to purchase 10 million euros to obtain the final transfer of the Spanish midfield Marc Cucurella (21 years old), announced on Tuesday the catalan club who had loaned at the beginning of the season 2019-2020. Barca will, however, retain 10 % in the case of subsequent resale of the player.

Passed by the younger teams of Espanyol Barcelona and trained at the Masia, the famous training center of Barcelona, Marc Cucurella has been a pillar of the good season for Getafe this year, with a goal and six assists in 31 matches in la Liga, almost always as a holder. He played a total of 39 games this season for the commuters in madrid.
