The former boss of the athletics world, Lamine Diack, held in Paris for corruption on background of doping in Russia, has denied Thursday having solicited funds from Moscow to finance a presidential campaign in Senegal in 2012, contradicting what he has been able to say during the investigation.

This is at the request of his own lawyer, mr. Simon Ndiaye, the Senegalese 87-year-old, whose responses to the helm are sometimes disjointed and a little audible, tried to make a point.
