Lewis Hamilton, six-time world champion of Formula 1, has asked the government to remove the statues of the "racist" who earned money by selling slaves. He made the statement after a british monument was demolished on Sunday.

"Our country has honored a man who sold african slaves" posted Hamilton on the social networks on Monday. "All the statues of men racists who have earned money by selling a human being should be dismantled ! Which is the next one ? "
