The Committee on Olympic and Interfederal Belge (COIB) has decided on Tuesday, on the occasion of its annual general meeting which was held this time in the form of a video conference, to postpone the election of its board of directors, and therefore its president, in 2021.

This decision was taken for " the team currently in place, to carry out this olympiad, could assume the responsibility until the end of this period, of which the highlight are the summer olympic games ".
