Through the Hageland: a fifth edition, under strict sanitary measures

The fifth edition of Through the Hageland, scheduled for Saturday, 15 August, was presented on Wednesday. This race category 1.Pro is, after the GP Vermarc of 5 July, the second cycling race held in Belgium since the crisis of the sars coronavirus. The organizers have planned a series of measures to ensure that the race can compete on August 15.

The race will start again from Aarschot. Not from the Grand Place, but the Demervallei. "Because we can prevent the presence of a spectator on this road," said Nick Nuyens, the organizer. The course will include two circuits, a first, placed after 23 km of racing, of 59 kilometres and a second one of 20 kilometers, which will be carried out two times each. There will be five passages to the Citadel of Diest.
