The KVC Westerlo has sent a letter to the belgian football Federation (RBFA) and the Pro League, Thursday, in which the club clarified its position. The Campine are of the opinion that the decisions taken in respect of the judgment of the competition and its sporting consequences will be cancelled.

The general Assembly of the Pro League was decided, may 15, that if the final return of the D1B between Oud-Heverlee Leuven and Beerschot could not compete, Westerlo would be promoted to the Jupiler Pro League. However, Westerlo has resigned himself quickly to his fate in sports.
