Emmaus swimming sweeps Parkland for EPC titles

Emmaus girls and boys swimming teams swept Parkland on Thursday to win the Eastern Pennsylvania Conference championships.

The Green Hornets girls team posted a 100-86 win to snap the Trojans' run of seven straight conference championships. 

On the boys side, Emmaus beat Parkland 98-88. It was the 13th straight conference title for the Green Hornets.

Chelsea Gravereaux, Katie Champagne and Abby Heilenman each won two individual events for the Emmaus girls. Gravereaux won the 200 freestyle (1:54.40) and the 100 butterfly (58.86), Champagne took first in the 200 individual medley (2:11.68) and the 100 backstroke (58.91) and Heilenman was victorious in the 50 freestyle (25.46) and 100 free (55.03).

Ethan Carr won the 200 individual medley in 1:55.93 and the 100 backstroke in 52.57 to lead the Emmaus boys.
