It begins in Oracle Arena with grand larceny and a one-handed slam, colloquially known as the “Kawhi Leonard Special.”
Just over eight minutes later, it ends in Detroit with an awkward left-handed heave that miraculously drops through the orange cylinder.
In between those two plays are 46 others, each plucked from a different game.
It is the ultimate Leonard mixtape featuring the “best” play from his first 48 games this season. (Plays from his last two games against New York and Indiana are not included.)
Acrobatic finishes, vicious jams and stellar defensive plays abound. About the only thing that doesn’t make its way into these Kawhi-lights is any sort of histrionics.
But just because Leonard doesn’t care to celebrate his triumphs, doesn’t mean you can’t.
