Best Buy thieves worked with 3rd male in stealing spree, cops say

A pair on a stealing spree at Best Buy stores in Bethlehem Township and Phillipsburg worked with a third male to steal items from the store in Greenwich Township, police said.

A man and woman are accused of stealing items Friday first at Best Buy in Phillipsburg and then, Best Buy in the Southmont Shopping Center in Bethlehem Township.

Phillipsburg police reported the pair shoplifting two XBox controllers, valued at $149, before moving on to Bethlehem Township. It's unclear what was stolen from the Southmont location.

The female was seen on store surveillance footage wearing a pink hooded sweatshirt, black leggings and black boots. The male was seen wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, denim jeans and white sneakers.

Greenwich Township police now believe a third male worked with the pair at 4:30 p.m. Friday once they arrived at the Best Buy in the township. The trio stole Samsung earbuds, valued at $149, from that store, police said.
