The fire was reported at around 9 p.m. as a chimney fire. It was upgraded to a three-alarm fire when the first firefighters to arrive saw flames on the outside of the home, as well as the roof, according to those at the scene.

There were no injuries reported and firefighters quickly brought the blaze under control. There appeared to be extensive damage to a bedroom on the second floor, the attic and the roof on one part of the home.

Firefighters left the scene by 11:45 p.m.

Those responding include firefighters from Quakertown, Clinton, Annandale Hose Company and High Bridge, as well as Quakertown EMS and Quakertown Fire Department's EMS.
