SAN ANTONIO — A death is being investigated Monday night on the West Side.
San Antonio Police Department officers responded to the 200 block of Cortez Avenue at about 8 p.m. for reports that someone had been shot.

Shortly after EMS arrived on scene, a person who was found shot at the scene was pronounced deceased, per initial reports.
