[updated may 19, 2020 at 09h45] in view of the magnitude of the global health crisis, UEFA has decided on the 17th of march last, after a council extraordinary, to see the Euro 2020 football in the summer of 2021. The new dates of the Euro

After this extraordinary council meeting, the presidents of the six continental confederations as well as Gianni Infantino, the president of FIFA confirmed the new dates of the Euro football. The final phase of the Euro will be held June 11 to July 11, 2021 . If the calendar is not yet fully locked, the phase of groups (six groups of four teams) should play from 11 June until around the 25th of June 2021. The first two of each group and the four best third will play the 8th finals, the end of June. The quarter finals will be taking place at the beginning of July 2021. The semi-finals will compete for around 7 July at 21h, at Wembley stadium, London (England), while the final is scheduled for 11 July, 21 hours, always at Wembley.

The groups of the final phase of the Euro soccer have been made on the 30 November 2019, on the occasion of the draw. The team of France inherited a group statement, as it will face Germany and Portugal. These groups should not change as a result of the postponement of the competition.
