[updated on July 6, 2020 at 11h02] The professional football League has handed down its verdict on 26 June last about the general calendar of the competitions in French football, and in particular that of the League 1 . As tipped, the detailed programme of the whole of Ligue 1 has not been provided and only the dates of the 38 days were revealed. A few indiscretions, however, have surfaced in recent days. The Paris shows by example today, Wednesday, that the PSG should begin the season against FC Metz on Saturday, August 22 at the Parc des Princes, should receive the OM on Sunday, 13 September. All posters should be known on 9 July. In the meantime, it is necessary to be content with the information provided by the LFP, mentioned last week in a press release :

"In League 1 Uber Eats, the 1st day of the season 2020/2021 is scheduled for the weekend of 22 and 23 August, 2020 . In connection with the UEFA and because of the final of the Europa League and Champions League, respectively, 21 and 23 August, in the place of this first day will have some developments to avoid the competition between the programming. Five days of League 1 Uber Eats (J15, J17, J18, J20 and J23) will be held during the week. The 17th day, scheduled for Wednesday 23 December 2020, will be the last day of the calendar year prior to the winter break. The resumption of the championship in 2021 (18th day) will take place in the week, Wednesday, January 6, 2021. The last day of the games go (19th day) will take place the weekend of January 9, 2021 while the first games back (20th day) will take place on Wednesday 20 January 2021. The 38th and last day of Ligue 1 Uber Eats for the season 2020/2021 has been placed in the Sunday, may 23, 2021 (multiplex). The dams of League 1 Uber Eats, between the 18th season of League 1 Uber Eats the winner of the Play-offs of League 2 BKT, are set for Thursday, may 27 (go) and Sunday, may 30, 2021 (return)". The calendar of the next season of Ligue 1 has, therefore, been formalized, with a date of resumption fixed for the weekend of the Saturday 22 and Sunday August 23, 2020 . The championship will conclude with the 38th day of the Sunday, may 23, 2021 (all matches will take place at the same time in a multiplex format). The detailed schedule of each day, with posters in the program will be unveiled on 9 July.
