Nine chemical weapons inspectors are in Syria to investigate the poison gas attack in Duma. But they have not been allowed to go there. It's not until Wednesday.

Poison gas attack: Russia and Syria block OPCW investigations

Syria and Russia have so far not left investigative team of Organization for a ban on chemical weapons (OPCW) to Duma, where population was to be attacked with poison gas on 7 April. At a press conference in Russian Embassy at OPCW headquarters in Den Haag, Ambassador Alexander Schulgin said that inspectors should not travel to Duma until Wednesday. Already on Saturday y had arrived in Damascus. Their continued journey had so far not been allowed under reference to "security problems". Now it was said at press conference that roads to Duma would have to be cleared of mines.

On Monday, British Embassy in Nerlands on Twitter had reported that OPCW experts were still in Damascus. The Swedish delegation confirmed accusation later. Both countries invoked report of Director-General of OPCW, Ahmet Üzümcü, on this Monday during an emergency meeting of Executive Council of organisation in The Hague. The organization later confirmed that its experts were still not allowed to travel furr.
