The Ibex 35 recorded a rise of 0.46% around 1:00 p.m., which led the selective to stand at 8,033 integers, on a day marked by the results in the United States of the mid-term elections (or 'midterm' ), which for now, in the absence of finishing the vote count, gives victory to the Democrats in the Senate and the Republicans in the House of Representatives, where 435 seats are at stake.
In this way, the Madrid selective tried to hold on to the psychological level of 8,000 points in the middle of the session, on a day in which the presentation of business results continues and Iberdrola has announced investments of some 47,000 million euros in the period 2023 -2025 to reach a net profit of between 5,200 and 5,400 million euros at the end of the period.
In the middle of the session, the biggest increases were scored by Cellnex Telecom (5.1%), Naturgy Energy (2.32%), Iberdrola (1.37%), Rovi (1.31%) and Enagás (1.21%). ), while on the opposite side were Solaria (-2.71%), ArcelorMittal (-2.17%), Meliá Hotels (-1.85%) and PharmaMar (-1.49%).
The rest of the European stock markets were trading lower with falls of 0.4% for Frankfurt and 0.2% for London and Paris.
Likewise, the price of a barrel of Brent quality oil, a reference for the Old Continent, stood at a price of 94 dollars, with a decrease of 0.81%, while Texas stood at 88 dollars, with a fall of 0.91%.
Finally, the price of the euro against the dollar stood at 1.0064 'greenbacks', while the Spanish risk premium stood at 103 basis points, with the interest required on the ten-year bond at 3.278%.
