While in the beginning of the week, the players in the film sector and the audiovisual sector, who felt forgotten, launched a campaign to make their voices heard, the minister of Culture and Media of the Wallonia-Brussels Federation, Bénédicte Linard (Ecolo), unveiled on Friday a stimulus package for the sector of the cinema and audiovisual sector.
Developed with the assistance of the Centre for cinema and the audiovisual industry on the basis of consultations with the sector, this plan, estimated at 6 million euros, aims to support the whole creative chain, from authors to exhibitors, responding to the requests of professionals in the face of this crisis and its current and future implications.
