At the base, the national security Council (NSC) on this Thursday's goal was to initiate phase 5 of the déconfinement, expected as early as the 1st of August. On the menu, an enlargement of the bubbles of 50 to 100 for weddings ; from 200 to 400 for the inner events, from 400 to 800 in the outdoors.
But crash. Since a week, the number of new infections is just rising (see infographic). And these figures do not allow us to continue the déconfinement. Result : no activation of the phase 5 for the moment. A decision which will be formalized in the CNS for Thursday.
