Restricted free agent forward Jesper Boqvist accepted a one-year, two-way qualifying offer from the New Jersey Devils on Friday.

The deal will earn him $874,125 if he plays in the National Hockey League and $70,000 in the American League.
The Swede has spent the last three seasons in the Devils organization, amassing a total of 34 points in 119 games with the big club.
In 2021-22, Boqvist set a career-high 23 points, including 10 goals, in 56 games.
It was one of GM Tom Fitzgerald's last files in the offseason.
Forwards Jesper Bratt, Miles Wood and Tyce Thompson as well as goaltender Vitek Vanecek, all four restricted free agents, must, however, go through salary arbitration.
