Morocco: Dead in mass panic during food issue

In the distribution of relief goods in Morocco, there has been a mass panic in a market, 17 people have died. King Mohammed VI promised help to the victims.

Both distribution of aid supplies has come to EinerMassenpanik in south of Morocco. At least 17 people died, at least 38 were injured. The said head of a local youth organization, Rachi al-Wasat. DasInnenministerium also confirmed incident. Most of victims are women.

KönigMohammed VI gave prospective assistance to victims and ir families. The Ministry of Interior also said that king would pay for supply of DerVerletzten and burial of dead.

SidiBoulalam is located about 150 km southwest of Casablanca in province of Essaouira. In Morocco, private sponsors, relief organizations and authorities often distribute food aid, especially in remote parts of country. The weekly Märktegenutzt are often used for people from all over world.

Lastly, a Dürredie agricultural production in Morocco had been affected. The price of FürGrundnahrungsmittel was thus furr increased. This resulted in supply bottlenecks in parts of country.
