Two school-aged children were struck by a vehicle Friday afternoon in Jersey City.

The children appeared to have suffered only minor injuries, said Joe Shine, a freelance photographer for The Jersey Journal, who was at the scene after the incident.

The accident occurred in the are of Communipaw and Garfield avenues, near Berry Lane Park, Shine said. Jersey City did not have information available on the accident.
