Five people were hurt Sunday evening when a pickup truck and a sports car collided on Brass Castle Road in Washington Township, Warren County, according to an on-scene report.

The crash happened about 6:30 p.m. on a curve just south of Forces Hill Road.

The GMC pickup truck rolled over and ended up on its wheels. The BMW Z4 had damage to the front driver's side.

All the injured were taken to Hackettstown Medical Center.

Brass Castle was shut during the incident between Harmony Brass Castle Road and Little Philadelphia Road.

Washington Township police were investigating. The Washington Rescue Squad, township firefighters, the Franklin Township Rescue Squad and the Hampton Rescue Squad assisted at the scene.
