93-year-old's death hypothermia-related, coroner's office says

A 93-year-old Freemansburg man died from complications of hypothermia after falling at his home, the Lehigh County Coroner's Office said Wednesday night.

Aurelio A. Augusta fell sometime before 9:34 p.m. Sunday at his home in the 500 block of Monroe Street, Chief Deputy Coroner Andrew Kehm said in a news release.

Augusta was pronounced dead at 9:55 a.m. Tuesday at St. Luke's University Hospital in Fountain Hill. The death was ruled an accident.

Freemansburg police assisted the coroner's office in investigating the death.
