Saturday's storm continues to cause concern as just over 50,000 Quebec homes are still without power five days later.

The Laurentians (30,270), the Lanaudière region (8,860) and the Outaouais (11,678) are particularly affected by these prolonged outages.

At the height of the blackouts, Saturday evening, more than 500,000 Quebec homes were plunged into darkness.
