Investment in commuter rail and urban mobility amounts to 1,508.93 million euros

Adif has invested more than 5,974 million euros in the autonomous communities linked to the Recovery and Resilience Mechanism, with Madrid being the region that has attracted the most resources, with a total of 906.43 million euros.

Through a parliamentary response to a question from the UPN deputy, Alberto Catalán, the Executive details the programmed investments in services and works in the different autonomous communities from the provision of funds from the Recovery and Resilience Mechanism passed on to Adif and Adif Alta Velocity .

Of the more than 5,974 million euros invested, Madrid leads the ranking with those 906 million, 15.2% of the total. Part of these resources are allocated to the transformation of the Chamartín-Clara Campoamor station.

Madrid is followed by Catalonia, with 750.2 million euros; and the Valencian Community, with 674.5 million. On the other side of the list are Cantabria, with 49.53 million euros; and La Rioja, with 64.82 million.

Investments in Galicia also stand out, with 499.78 million; the Region of Murcia, with up to 448,416 million euros; and Andalusia, with 347.47 million, according to the parliamentary response to which Europa Press has accessed.

But, in addition to the regionalized data, the Executive also reports the amounts programmed by activities. In this section, the investment in the corridors of the Trans-European Transport Network stands out, with 2,970.65 million euros.

Investment in commuter rail and urban mobility, for its part, amounts to 1,508.93 million euros; while other actions in the Trans-European Transport Network will reach 1,105.08 million euros. Finally, the funds allocated to intermodal terminals, logistics and access to ports reach 479.46 million euros.
