With Valentine's Day literally right around the corner, now is the time to get a head start with setting the mood with some classic love songs.

Kenny "Babyface" Edmonds is one of the more prolific and successful producers and writers of such music, having been a part of 26 number-one R&B hits.

Those songs were on display Sunday evening as Babyface made a stop at the Sands Bethlehem Event Center in Bethlehem.

The show was part of his current tour to support the 2015 album "Return of the Tender Lover." The album, which is Babyface's 10th studio album, pays homage to his 1989 breakout "Tender Lover."

The album spawned four Top 10 hits on the Billboard Hot R&B/Hip-Hop songs chart including "It's No Crime," "My Kinda Girl" and the title track "Tender Love."

While the soulful singer, an 11-time Grammy Award winner, has had massive mainstream hits including 1994's "When Can I See You" and 1997's "Every Time I Close My Eyes," his success in collaborating with other artists has been what's cemented his place in music history.

Babyface co-wrote Madonna's 1994 chart-topper "Take a Bow" and has also worked with the likes of Whitney Houston, Beyonce, Ariana Grande, Mariah Carey, Usher, Eric Clapton, Toni Braxton, Ashanti and many others.
