A 42-year-old Beach Park man was killed Saturday evening when his motorcycle rear-ended a car on Route 41 in Wadsworth, according to reports.
A preliminary investigation by the Lake County Sheriff's Office found that a 2013 Harley Davidson motorcycle was southbound on Route 41 north of Route 173 at around 8 p.m. when it rear-ended a 1985 Pontiac Fiero, according to a news release.
The driver of the motorcycle, who was not wearing a helmet, was ejected from the motorcycle and pronounced dead at the scene, the release said. The driver of the Fiero, a 63-year-old Gurnee man, was not injured.
