Escrivá considers the problem of the resale of appointments for Social Security solved, which amounts to 1%

MADRID, 17 Mar. (EUROPA PRESS) -

The Minister of Inclusion, Social Security and Migrations, José Luis Escrivá, has resolved this Friday the resale of appointments for citizen attention by Social Security.

Escrivá, in statements to Antena 3 collected by Europa Press, stated that "1% of the appointments were being resold", but added that the IP addresses involved in this problem have been blocked, so that it has been resolved.

"We have had a problem of fraud with appointments that we have already resolved. I don't know whether to call it fraud or picaresque. Some appointments were being resold, 1% of the appointments", said the minister, who added that this situation has already has been fixed.

The minister explained that Social Security handles 17 million procedures or inquiries annually and that, within that figure, there may be cases where the attention "has not been perfect." However, he wanted to make it clear that Social Security pays pensions "in due time and form" and with continuity of income.
