The fire that left three apartments unlivable at an Orlando complex has been ruled accidental, officials said Saturday.

Fire crews responded to the Avesta Bridgewater complex on South Conway Road near Michigan Street about 7:15 p.m. Friday, said Orlando Fire Department spokeswoman Ashley Papagni.

Three units were destroyed, but firefighters were able to save seven other apartments before the flames spread, Papagni said.

Investigators found electrical wiring in an outlet inside a closet in one of the units may have caused the blaze.

Papagni said the fire was ruled accidental.

The American Red Cross was called to assist residents in the three destroyed units, Papagni said.

At least six adults and four children were displaced.
