Here's the couple that reportedly won $5.2M N.J. lottery prize

PENNSVILLE TWP. --  A Salem County couple says they won $5.2 million in the New Jersey Lottery's Pick 6 game by using their grandchildrens' birthdays, a report says.

Identified only as Sam and Kathy, according to CBS3, the local residents bought their lucky ticket at Rachel's Deli on Highland Avenue.

"I played each of the grandkids' birthdays, which I have five and she said we need another number. So we got five grandkids so we made it 5," Sam said.

The couple say they plan to help their children pay off their bills and their homes.

For selling the winning ticket, the business gets a bonus of its own - $10,000.

Back in 2013, Rachel's Deli sold another lottery ticket worth a $1 million prize, the report said.

The $5.2 million prize is before before taxes are taken out.

A New Jersey State Lottery spokesperson did not return calls or emails saying whether the couple had officially claimed their prize.
