The board of directors of Holaluz has co-opted Elena Gómez del Pozuelo as a new independent director, to fill the gap left by Isabela Pérez-Nivela on August 1, who resigned citing personal reasons, the company has informed BME Growth.

Holaluz explained that this appointment is the result of a professional search process carried out by the head hunting firm Seeliger y Conde, in which different options have been evaluated.

Elena Gómez del Pozuelo, an entrepreneur with extensive experience in the Internet, e-commerce and digital marketing, has a Law Degree from the University of Alcalá and a Master's Degree in Community Law from both the same faculty and the Free University of Brussels.

After holding the position of general director of both the Spanish Association of Direct Marketing and the Spanish Association of Electronic Commerce, in 2010 she founded Secretariaplus.com and Directivosplus.com, which she sold seven years later.

Since then, she has undertaken ten projects, highlighting two in which she is currently actively immersed: Womenalia, a social network focused on professional women with more than 350,000 members, and Baby Friendly Companies, dedicated to supporting companies to turn them into "baby" organizations. friendly" with the aim that its employees can reconcile their professional activity with their family life.

Throughout her professional career, Elena Gómez del Pozuelo has been president of the Spanish Association of the Digital Economy for 15 years. She is currently a member of the board of directors of International Women Forum (IWF).
