Nextil signs an agreement with Lavamar for the industrial development of natural-based 'greendyes' tinting

MADRID, 4 Abr. (EUROPA PRESS) -

Nextil has signed a collaboration agreement with the Spanish company Lavamar with the aim of finalizing the development of a natural-based industrial dyeing procedure that allows the 'greendyes' technique to be marketed, as reported this Thursday by the textile firm to the National Commission of Stock Market (CNMV).

The agreement is part of Nextil's global strategy, which will soon be exposed to the markets, of developing collaborations that promote the industrialization of the 'greendyes' process in garments, pieces and fabrics, with the aim of providing full commercial capacity to the company. final industrialized solution, to then address global agreements with retail clients and with the pigment and ink distribution industry outside of Spain.

In addition, the contract with the Lavamar ink, with an initial duration of 4 years, which includes the exclusive worldwide distribution of the complete solution for certain clients, represents for Nextil the first milestone of its strategic objectives for 'greendyes', the solution of natural-based dyeing that represents a "more ecological and sustainable" alternative to traditional dyeing.

The firm has explained that the differential factor of 'greendyes' consists in its application at room temperature, which allows great advantages such as saving 85% of energy, 90% of water and 70% of time in the process of dyeing, as well as the non-use of auxiliary products derived from the petrochemical industry in the dyeing process.

More than 30% of the costs of a conventional tinting process are energy and, in addition, the water used in the tinting process with 'greendyes' is reusable, thereby reducing the carbon footprint and generating "significant" economic savings for customers, the company has detailed.

This agreement was announced after the company announced last Tuesday that César Revenga is the new CEO of the textile brand after resigning on the same day as CEO of Ezentis.
