Police arrested a Portland man suspected of threatening a woman with a crowbar in Hillsboro, stealing her car and eluding officers Thursday.

Marshall Andrew Litten, 25, is suspected of stealing the woman's 2002 Mazda, Hillsboro police said in a news release. He's facing robbery, eluding and unlawful use of a vehicle charges.

The woman, 23, wasn't injured.

Police said Litten came up to her as she entered her car in the 18500 block of Northwest Heritage Parkway, threatened and pushed her, and drove away in her car.

He drove north on 185th Avenue, police said, and turned onto eastbound U.S. 26. He crashed at the Sylvan exit and ran away, police said, but Beaverton officers took him into custody shortly thereafter.

He was booked into the Washington County Jail.
