Police reportedly catch burglary suspect after receiving tip from resident

ROCHELLE PARK -- An antique burglar was nabbed following a tip from a resident Sunday morning, NorthJersey.com reported.

Police arrested Geoffrey Opresnick, 62, of Dover, who was carrying a flashlight, rubber gloves, a tool and construction mask, the report said.

According to the report, someone called police Sunday morning about a man who was snooping around a home on Lexington Avenue. Ospresnick fled the area and hid in a nearby home, where police found him in possession of some antique items. 

He was charged with burglary, theft, possession of burglary tools, criminal trespass and criminal attempt at theft, the report said.
