Police are searching for a 16-year-old girl who has been missing since last month. 

Sidney Sellers was last seen Jan. 24 leaving her home near the 2100 block of South Trumbull Avenue in the city's Little Village neighborhood, according to a news release from police. 

The teen could be on the city's West Side near Ohio Street and Spaulding Avenue, police said. 

She was last seen wearing a red coat, and she is described as a black teen with black hair and brown eyes. She is 5 feet 5 inches tall and weighs 142 pounds.

Anyone with information about the girl's whereabouts is asked to call Area Central Special Victims Unit at (312) 747-8380.
