With up to a quarter inch of rain predicted Saturday in the Portland area, a flood warning continued for the Tualatin River at Farmington in Washington County.

The flood warning for the Pudding River at Aurora, however, was canceled Saturday, the National Weather Service said.

At 4 a.m. Saturday, the Tualatin River at Farmington was at 32.5 feet; flood stage is 32 feet. "Some farmland near the river channel will be inundated," the weather service said, with flooding of a few secondary roads in and around Farmington and Tualatin.

At 5 a.m. Saturday, the Pudding River at Aurora in Clackamas County was 21.8 feet; flood stage is 22 feet. "The river crested overnight very close," to flood stage, the weather service said. "This river will continue to fall the next couple of days."

Saturday's forecast calls for rain through 4 p.m., followed by showers through 10 p.m. and more rain after that. The high will be near 49 degrees; the low tonight will be 39.

Sunday morning, expect rain before 10 a.m., then showers, with a high near 50. Between a tenth of an inch to a quarter of an inch accumulation is possible Sunday and Sunday night.

The chance of rain Monday is 100 percent with a high near 50. New precipitation amounts will likely be between a quarter and half of an inch.

On Mount Hood, the precipitation is expected to translate into snow Saturday through Monday.

There's a 90 percent chance of snow at Government Camp where the high Saturday will be 36 degrees, the weather service predicts. Up to 2 inches accumulation is possible.

Saturday night at Government Camp, there's a chance of snow showers before 10 p.m., then snow after 4 a.m., with an accumulation of an inch.

Sunday, Sunday night and Monday, more snow is expected at Government Camp.
