Renfe begins to market tourist packages in the nine destination cities of its AVE in France

MADRID, 17 Feb. (EUROPA PRESS) -

Renfe has begun to market complete packages that include train, hotel and leisure travel in the nine destinations of its AVE trains in France, in Lyon, Marseille, Montpellier, Narbonne, Nimes, Avignon, Aix en Provence, Perpignan and Valence.

These nine French cities thus join the destinations of 'Renfe Viajes', Renfe's tourist package marketing agency, and will from now on offer preferential prices, accumulation and redemption of points from the 'Más Renfe' program and the possibility of purchasing gift cards, as reported by the company.

With this launch, the company incorporates into its reservation system the combination of "train Ave hotel leisure", with more than a thousand accommodations, guided tours, tickets to museums, aquariums or "city card" to tour the cities.

It is an "integrated offer to complete all the needs" of the trip at the destination beyond the train ticket.

Purchases of complete packages on 'Renfe Viajes' allow you to accumulate 4% of the full amount in points on the 'Más Renfe' loyalty card, points that can be used to buy new tourist products or train tickets.

The majority of accommodations are in Lyon and Marseille, cities that have added 174 and 130 accommodations to 'Renfe Viajes' respectively, and offer to complete the visit with the 'Lyón City Card' or preferential tickets to the Museum of Confluences or the Aquarium.

In Nîmes, in addition to being able to choose between 26 accommodations, it is proposed to visit the Roman past of this destination, including in the trip a visit to 'Les arènes' or with entry to the 'Musée de la Romanité'.
