Renfe has announced that it will report companies or Internet portals that usurp the company's identity for possible fraud attempts.

These companies, which mainly act through different social networks, usually offer gifts, raffles or false promotions through the fraudulent use of the Renfe brand, symbols or name.

In this regard, Renfe reminds that the use of any of the names, brands, logos or distinctive signs owned by the company is prohibited, unless they have express authorization from the operator.

Renfe's legal services have already filed some complaints, which are being processed, before the Police and the competent Courts for events of this nature.

In recent months, several examples of this type of scam have been detected, which Renfe has denied on social networks, warning potential victims that they should only trust their official channels or, if in doubt, to contact anyone. of your accounts.
